The historic Madame C.J. Walker Building, a tourist attraction located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, is the primary destination of African-American arts performances in central Indiana.

Jazz on the Avenue is the last Friday of the month from 6 to 10 p.m.

Laughin on the Avenue is the last Tuesday of the month from 8 to 10 p.m.

Indy Swing Dance occurs on alternating Sundays from 2 to 6 p.m.

Holiday Hours

The business office will close on Monday, May 31, 2010 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday, June 2, 2010.
