Charley Green, of Photochyck Photography, started Project Acceptance as a photographic way of teaching people to accept themselves and others in an effort to put an end to bullying. Photographs from Project Acceptance will be featured on display beginning March 2nd at the historic Madame Walker Theatre.
To celebrate the opening of the exhibit, the Walker Theatre will host a Project Acceptance reception on Friday, March 2nd from 5-7pm.
The exhibit will run through the month of March.
Project Acceptance, founded in 2011, seeks to promote acceptance through awareness by empowering individuals to overcome their personal insecurities.
